Meet the Founders
HOW IT STARTED
We are Brad and Reinet Aubrey, the proud owners and hosts of Aquaelberg Place. Our journey began back in 1989, as newlyweds, when we purchased this property, then just a tiny home on an expansive, empty land.
Over the years, we raised our three children here and personally planted every tree and shrub that now adorns the grounds. We've spent our lives working in the clothing and construction industries, respectively, and when not running after our kids, we indulge in our hobbies of gardening, angling, and traveling.
We love meeting people from all corners of the world, which is part of why we decided to open up our home. Aquaelberg Place grew with our family, and now that our children have moved on to start their own lives, we want to share the beauty and tranquility of our home with you.
Our property offers panoramic mountain views, the soothing sounds of nature, and the invigorating fresh air that we fell in love with over three decades ago.
